If you’re into growth, marketing, community building or just finding smarter spaces online, our Tribe of the Week is ClickFaction, where builders and marketers swap ideas, experiments and what’s working right now. Link is in the comments! 🧵12/12

Plus the member profiles make it feel natural. If someone says something smart you can check what else they’re part of. It’s like going from a junk drawer to a room where everything finally makes sense. 🧵11/12

Tribe flips that. It has discovery built in. You search by interest, hobby, job, identity, region, whatever matters to you, and it shows you actual active chats. 🧵10/12

You don’t actually discover spaces that fit you. You just stumble into whatever link crosses your path on the right day.

So the way we find group chats right now is scattered and messy. You bounce between Google, directories and old posts hoping one link hasn’t expired. 🧵8/12

Telegram sort of tries. You can search for groups, but a lot of what shows up is spammy or inactive or just multiple clones of the same thing. People still rely on outside directories anyway.

Slack is awesome for teams, but discovering communities inside Slack is basically impossible. You always end up on Slofile or some blog instead.

Signal goes all in on privacy, which is great, but it means no discovery at all. Someone has to literally hand you a link or you’re out of luck. 🧵5/12

WhatsApp gives you nothing. No browsing, no discovery. Whole “WhatsApp group link” sites exist because the app just never built that part. 🧵4/12

Discord technically has Discovery, but only for certain servers. If you want anything niche or weirdly specific you’re basically back to Googling and praying the invite still works. 🧵3/12

Finding group chats that actually match your interests is still way harder than it should be. Half the time it feels like you’re chasing old links and random Reddit posts from last year.
