I would say Marty walks away with a greater understanding of his parents as actual people, as well as a lesson in his father that being afraid to put yourself out there in the present can lead to a less desirable future. One gets the sense Marty will send his tape out, as George sent his stories.

The art for the other two books in the series are great too, but this one is definitely my favorite
