It is absolutely an issue with how Ubisoft develops their games as they've developed many open world games over the years that run just fine on older storage mediums. It has become quite obvious that their games have taken a nose dive in both quality and technical prowess.

This isn't a technical limitation, it's the result of lazy companies who refuse to properly optimize their games for the Switch 2. They could easily make it playable on a proper cart, but they also want to push the GKC format for their releases.

Is it weird to try and not normalize companies acting in an anti-customer way? With a few exceptions, any company that uses GKCs to take away customer rights and actively make the Switch 2 experience worse should be shamed, and customers need to be aware of how they are being screwed.

I understand that but games can be optimized to accommodate for that, the problem is that they don't want to put the work into it and would rather normalize GKCs. If they won't go proper physical, they should just do digital only and stop pretending they care about physical

While the loads are a little slower, it seems more like an optimization issue by the developer the COULD be fixed but won't be to push GKCs. If this is such an issue for them, they should just make the game digital only on Switch 2 but they want that retail shelf space while pushing fake physical.

Let's not normalize their BS excuses. This has been used by multiple 3rd parties who clearly just want to push GKCs with little evidence outside of them saying "trust me bro" , lol.

Thank you for doing true physical Switch 1 and 2 cartridges. I refuse to buy trash GKC releases, so it's looking like PM Studio releases will fill out my Switch 2 library, lol.
