I'm a vagrant, a listener, and a father. I've worked and lived in 4 different countries. Tabletop role-playing games have been my hobby for 30+ years. I like narrative and story games, and I've always been tweaking the rules.
what happened along the way that I had other ideas, and Carved from Brindlewood seeped into the design, completely transforming the descendant into a sibling from another mother. Moves make Fiendgazer more conscious and emotional than BLOC MASS which remains a fast paced, self-sacrifice ready rebel!

Fiendgazer is actually an idea of @tonytranrpg.bsky.social who suggested that it would be interesting to see if the same concept was applied for a contemporary American setting, and I was like, hell yeah. Colonization of mind and reality, right now, baby!

It's mind boggling why people remember warmly about an age the completely oppressed them. so BLOC MASS is a metaphor: the Fiends represent the colonization of mind and reality that was done by the Soviets during that time.

@slaytaniccreations.bsky.social first off, I'm an absolute social media illetarate, and just notice this. sincere apologies for the delayed answer. Fiendgazer is indeed related to BLOC MASS whic was inspired by the "Soviet nostalgia" you can sense amonf many communities in Eastern Europe. (tbc)
