#Fishmas day 10 :
Stoneware Lates niloticus head.
I love washes to highlight barely visible texture
(This is after bisque, after applying copper wash, but before higher temp application)

#Crustmas day 10 : my Cubaris sp. Panda King.
I could not find if these were described and under what name ? They were not a few years ago.
This is an older picture, this is a species that mostly hides (at least in my place...)

Apparently there is such a thing as #trilobitetuesday (I approve), so for the 9th day of #Crustmas not one, but two Ceratoserolis trilobitoides (plus I miss days, so...)

#crustmas day 5:
A print using real shrimps from the fishmonger. Not sure of the species, should have made a picture...
Both prints use art oilpaint on paper.

#Fishmas day 5: gyotaku of a Notopogon sp.
This one was made on a molded specimen, so the orientation is wrong, standard should be head to the left.

#crustmas AND #Fishmas day 4
Ceramic Exhibition platter "Bernard Palissy" style with molded freshwater fishes (there is a pike, a perch, a smaller pike, an eel I think...), a crawfish, snakes, and assorted gasteropods and plants.

Attempt to reproduce this little guy. It needs bigger eyes I think, but otherwise not to bad, almost ready to dry

Last one is an attempt of repro of a neolithic hedgehog from the Hamin site in Mongolia. Still some refining to do on the head, and finishing the "spines"

Another from that shape series, Cinnabar and saturation gold inside
October 4, 2025 at 3:28 PM
A pendant of a shape from an lld tutorial I bought for polymer clay years ago. Love the colors, there is oatmeal and rainforest in there.
These are all glazed on all sides, I made supports with kiln resistant metal spikes.
The hair ornament is oatmeal in a band on the middle, on mullberry.

A few ceramic pendants and magnets.
My favorite is this teleost fish dentary, oxides on red glaze. Have to make more.
The saturation gold glaze makes great inside surfaces where it cannot run away.
An example is this frog pendant with celadons glazes on the outside.

The sister cup, with glazes amber quartz outside, inside river birch on amber quartz.
And a little bowl: outside and inside river birch, inside and top outside seaweed, outer edge oatmeal
