Truly one of the worst, messed up questions I have ever seen from the Sunday shows. It doesn't even make sense and grossly distorts the concept of complying with "the sprit of the law." They are withholding and intentionally hiding massive amounts of evidence, that is not complying, in ANY sense.

Boy you don't understand demographics at all. Sad.
December 19, 2025 at 4:28 PM
Yeah, you guys go form your party of two and attack everyone else as racist, or whatever. Have fun.
December 19, 2025 at 4:27 PM
No one ever said he wouldn't do it. The criticism from me was directed at the corp media that pretends Trump can LEGALLY do what he is doing.

If you don't believe there is a large amount of homophobia in the African American community, especially among the fundamentalist Christians, you aren't paying attention.
December 19, 2025 at 4:24 PM
What Dan Savage said about racist gay white men and homophobic African Americans is pretty accurate in terms of the numbers. Sorry those facts upset you, but its not racist to point them out.

Pathetic that @npr can't even note in the article that neither Trump nor the Center's Board has the legal authority to change the Center's name, which was established by an Act of Congress. Instead NPR reports this as if the name has in fact been changed. WTF NPR!

I think Brooks clearly did do something wrong, very wrong, as a journalist, by writing that column but not disclosing that he had attended non-public events with Epstein.
December 18, 2025 at 10:26 PM
The statement also doesn't answer the bigger question, if the contact was so innocuous, why didn't Brooks disclose it in his column?
December 18, 2025 at 7:20 PM
This has to be satire, right?
December 18, 2025 at 7:14 PM
The Kennedy Center is named by statute. Neither Trump nor his appointed Board can change the name. Such awful journalism, just accepting/assuming that Trump and his minions actually have the power to do everything they claim to do. Go back to school and retake Journalism 101.

Bluesky needs an edit feature so bad! I have so many typos. Sorry to hear the Catholics were still pushing this in 2007. It was also one of the things that drove me away.
December 18, 2025 at 7:07 PM
The Catholic Church openly embraced and enforced this specific bigotry in the 1970s when I was receiving my high school Catholic indoctrination. I hope I am wrong, but I'm not aware of them ever officially withdrawing these specific "teachings/doctrines."
December 18, 2025 at 6:44 PM
Wow, one of the most pompous, arrogant and entitled public figures, Brooks, certainly had this coming, but I didn't see it coming. Hard to see how @nytimes.com avoids saying something publicly about this.
December 18, 2025 at 6:20 PM
Thank you for these posts. I have been trying to get some of my straight friends who still defend @nytimes.com to focus on the harm they did with their "reporting" on trans issues. We need a lot more people calling them out on this issue.
December 18, 2025 at 6:04 PM
This would be on the @nytimes.com front page already.

He is accurately describing a foreign country, but its Saudi Arabia, not Venezuela.
December 17, 2025 at 8:38 PM
These "prosecutors" have names. I really do not understand why, when you all know they are intentionally abusing their authority, our media continues to help them remain anonymous. They have no such right or legit expectation under these circumstances.
December 16, 2025 at 3:57 PM
The prosecutor has a name. Why aren't you using it? These DOJ lawyers are abusing their authority. They have no right to be anonymous when they do that and its really inconsistent with your job as a journalist to help them remain anonymous, which you are clearly doing.
December 16, 2025 at 3:54 PM
It's been both fun and sad watching S.Ct "experts" try to justify the S.Ct. majority's behavior towards Trump. They have this collective desire to believe that we still have a rational S.Ct majority, deciding cases objectively, a desire that continues long after the facts show that is not true.
December 16, 2025 at 3:32 PM
@nytimes.com has reported about this, but the article's overall tone is that its just Trump being Trump, not that it refelcts serious mental health and behavioral issues that require immediate medical attention. Huge double standard when compared to how the Times reported on Biden's mental issues.
December 15, 2025 at 9:24 PM
Altho @nytimes page has extensive coverage about Reiner's death, including some about very recent developments, so far the Times has not even acknowledged this despicable post by Trump. WTF?
December 15, 2025 at 5:59 PM
My bet is @nytimes.com says nothing about this, or, if they report it, they bury it and try to normalize it.
December 15, 2025 at 4:06 PM
Its is overall a pro-vaccination message, which is great, but she somehow tries to blame Biden and his handling of the COVID vaccine, WTF, before moving on to the current administration. Are her numbers for Canada correct?
