I draw things sometimes! Usually weird little comics. Sometimes I post bird photos from the forest near my town.
check it out! Jewel spider, Australocantha minax, in the front yard. The camera only just picks it up, but they put little "flags" on their webs to alert big dumb creatures to their presence so they don't blunder through them. Great idea imo.

More art for the scifi card game. This one is triggered by every player having a Pretty Bad Time, and sets up a smuggling network represented by a second face-up draw deck. (You'll get VP when other players use it; smugglers aren't in it for charity...)

Another bit of card art for the scifi game. This guy gives you a whole lot of draw/discard and a free turn IF you've lost a bunch of Planets. (You know things have gone poorly when your recon efforts are led by a fish in a fishbowl spacesuit riding a space moped.)

Wow! Here's my photo of a male spotted pardalote taken in July last year, and another photo taken ~20m down the same track this afternoon. Comparing the pattern of white spots on the head (esp. the small dot at the end of the brow stripe) I'm pretty sure this is the same bird in both pics! #birds

I wanted to draw the General in an ecologically accurate manner. They're obvs. a plover:

Spotted a pair of very lost-looking shelducks in the middle of the ironbark forest. I yelled "you're not supposed to be here, the lake is THAT way" at them. They went "HORNK HORNK" at me and flew off in the direction I'd pointed.
