As a semi-regular user of GWR’s Pullman Dining offering for the last few years, I very much enjoyed sampling the new menu on Monday. I often hear people say “I wish there’s decent catering offerings on UK trains”. There is! Use it, folks.

An honour to support our Armistice Day commemorations this year by collecting wreaths on our 0503 departure from Penzance, and escorting them to our memorial on Platform 1 at London Paddington. It meant even more to be able to wear my @scouts uniform and represent our movement ⚜️

On Friday, I caught the train from Exeter to London, with the aim of working from the office before heading off for a weekend with Scouts. As I was looking for a seat, a gentleman was walking through the aisle towards me, so I moved out of the aisle to allow him to pass. 1/11

What a week! 9 days ago, I arrived at a field, just outside Chelmsford, that would soon become the home to over 8,000 Scouts and Guides from over 40 countries - including Kenya, Australia and Ukraine - for a week of fun, friendship and adventure at @eij2024.
