I mean, it's guess you could say that. I usually have a number in captivity for observation, and they usually get names, so I guess that makes them pets?

I think that refers to an insect, not a spider, that skins along the water's surface.

Me too, actually. Trying to acquire some Dysdera crocata, woodlouse hunters. They're a six-eyed species.
