Inks done physically on a blueline printout of the 2 pages on bristol. Colours done in ClipStudioPaint on a veikk2200pro

Need to do more with the back wall brick texture, add the background lighting, and tweak a few more effects here and there, but overall pretty pleased with how things are turning out.

This is the 7th page from the issue that Ive inked. With the goal still being of inking all four issues!

Doing the backgrounds on this page in this way cut about two hours off of the time it would typically have taken.

I'm likely going to do a few more in this way just to see how consistent I can get things.

Essentially combining my backgrounds and usual digital cleanup into one step. The idea being to streamline my workflow a little bit and save a bit of time.

Depending on the page, its normally about 6-10 hours for me to ink the page depending on the complexity of it.

Normally when Inking I do the backgrounds by hand, but for this one I decided to try something different. With the amount of NYC budlings in the background with this one I did the main action and characters, and then inked the background digitally.

I wouldnt say it was the the high point, or the low point. It was good, but I would say middle of the road for the series.

I read through the series in its entirety recently as a break from my 1963 onward everything xmen binge.

Enjoyable, but like i said, not the high or the low for me.
