Marketing is so funny. Ordered a chair mat for my new office chair, because the wheels were getting stuck in the carpet. Except I didn't, because "chair mats" for thick carpet are £200. Sheets of 5mm polycarbonate (same thing)? Those are £70.

Springtime fun
The skeeter and his beautiful girlfriend at a pub table in the golden hour. They are both wearing sunglasses A spread of Singaporean food. Tofu satay, cucumber, and laksa curry with accompaniments. A little snail on a canal boat in the twilight. A family photo with the skeeter, his girlfriend, her parents, and her sister (who is a dog). The weather is really beautiful and there is a blue sky and a great view of a valley behind them.

I did not miss the weather in England (not that Scotland is any better)
The street outside Aldgate station in London in very heavy rain. The photo is taken under a tree, (which is still very damp!) but further into the street rain can be seen lashing the road. Some blonde stone buildings are visible through the haze. The TFL roundel is visible on the right. The skeeter, very wet, in an elevator. He is smiling, and wearing a white T-shirt which is so wet that it's stuck to his skin.

What you need the morning after the sleeper really
A photo of the inside of Gordon Street coffee in Glasgow. The floor is tiled with hexagonal tiles, mostly white but with a "weave" pattern in red. A poster on top of a water/sugar station advertises coffee roasted onsite daily. Behind, the bar is visible with someone making coffee, and above that a partly obscured price list. There are Tunnocks products on the bar. A classic flat white, in a cup with saucer and a spoon on the side. It has a heart pattern, and sits atop a marble table.

Another fun thing I did in Glasgow.
A photo of the tweeter, smiling, in a phone booth with the phone up to his ear. Surrounding the booth are the painted stencils for Banksy's "Spy Booth": suited men with tan trenchcoats, hats, and listening equipment. The photo has a Polaroid quality, with high contrast but muted colours.
