Proud winner of the Dewatering Consultant Project of the Year 2025 award by the 'The Dewatering Institute' for our hydrological study and tracer tests on the Brussels Metro3 project.

We provided in-depth data on groundwater movement for a ground freeze in complex, heterogeneous underground.

Our 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗼𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 🔦 can handle a tough job 💪

No external data loggers. No extra batteries. Just robust, self-contained devices, designed and assembled in-house.

Our fluorometers are compact, easy to install, and built for real-world conditions.

I love visiting London and taking the Channel Tunnel/Eurotunnel. I have always been struck by the incredible engineering that must have gone into constructing a tunnel 45 metres under the bottom of the sea that curves slightly up and down as it follows the Chalk Marl layer.

Case study 2 - risk assessment / catchment site delimitation for drinking water.

Absence of tracer recovery doesn't always mean the absence of a connection!

Our TDI "Dewatering Consultant Project of the Year" 2025 Award, sitting next to a North Sea core I won last year at a quizz organised by GSEU. We're very proud of our win :)!

Man-made disasters and their long-lasting impact on 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿, human health and the environment.

Pollution is not the only disaster that can affect groundwater. Subsidence because of over-extraction is a worldwide phenomenon. Let's take a look at Beijing.

When groundwater extraction >> recharge rates, this usually means problems.

Injection of fluorescent tracer (sodium fluorescein) with the aim to use the chalk underground for an Aquifer Storage Transfer and Recovery project, a natural buffer to store purified water.

Fluorescein looks blood red in high concentrations. First (surprising) results are in. More to come.

Not man-made in the strict sense, as the arsenic is naturally present in the sediment, but certainly caused by human interference.

We were featured in Neomag, the magazine of the Centre for Technological Innovation in Sustainable Construction.

For the construction industry we focus on providing expertise on groundwater management in heterogenous underground, rainwater and used water infiltration, and flood risk assessments.

TRAQUA is involved in an 𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 🌊🌡️.

An aquathermal system uses the thermal energy from natural or waste water sources (rivers, lakes, seawater or industrial wastewate) to heat or cool buildings. An aquathermal system uses a heat pump to extract low-temperature heat from the water.
