Spot on except for that you have to hate something whilst it’s on but when you start to hate the next current thing the thing you originally hated was actually quite good with hindsight.

Yeah but that was 13 that were written with the vague idea that they may not get another series. Different time for tv shows as well. I’ll add again that I don’t totally disagree with you. That first series had some awful episodes which I would happily never watch again.

It’s certainly got something to do with it because they had to cram four series worth of plot into two 8 episode series.
However, I’ll agree that that Buck also stops with RTD who could have cast somebody who would stick around and just relaxed a bit. A bit of fault all round.

In fairness, Ncuti would probably have got better if he decided to stick around for more than two series that were filmed back to back anyway.
