ALL ABOARD!
I had a two-Nissan garage for 9 years.
2003 350Z with either a 2009 or 2017 Murano.

Let the Z go in 2019. My cousin has it now.

Close-up of the layout in action.

They say this remote location is sometimes visited by movie stars, but I don’t see any. Do you?

A model train passes by at a small library hobby expo.

Unrelated, but this simple starter layout is what you can see in the background.

Note that the siding on the far right extends two tracks to the very edge. The bumpers there can be removed and the track connected to T-Trak modules…even though this loop is not intended as T-Trak.

I feel like I made significant progress in my T-Trak module today. It’s actually starting to take shape! (First photo is from almost a month ago. The other two are today.)

Next step: plaster sheets to cover the mountain.

Latest progress on the T-Trak module:

I took a trip down the Mass Pike to pick up a friend at the airport last night and got an idea for another T-Trak module that I want to do.
I should really finish the two I've started first.

Rapido (who STILL isn’t posting at @rapidotrains.bsky.social for some reason) was showing off the EMD F40PH-2D at the Amherst show.

*sigh*

Is it really that much to ask for an F40PH-2C or -3C in MBTA livery to pull the MBTA cars they’ve already produced?

Proof that you can find ANYTHING at the Amherst train show:

Here are things at the Amherst Railroad Hobby Show that my son pointed to and said, “Dad, can you take a picture of that?”

I’ve got plans to 3D print the Neighborhood Trolley for a 1:1 replica. (How no company ever licensed this to sell their own G scale replicas is beyond my understanding.)
I have a motor from USA Trains and need to modify the 3D model to fit it.

Even if you’re starting with the original, at some point you’ve replaced so much that you’ve got a Ship of Theseus paradox.

I 3D printed something for my son’s T Trak module… Going to embed that into the side of a mountain.

Lego (Bricklink Designer Program) set 910035 Logging Railway had a fragile trestle. I straightened and strengthened it and put real Lego tracks on it. Then I custom built a table so it could be integrated into the existing layout.

It’s hard to pick just one, but I’d love ANY of these:
* Grand Trunk 713 in N or HO
* PLI Interurban “Narcissus” in N or HO
* Trolley from Mister Rogers Neighborhood in G scale (1:1 replica)
* Central Pacific 131 (2-6-0) in HO (the Back to the Future III steam engine)
* MBTA MPI HSP46 in N and HO

YES! In a perfect world, they’d also put out two in the “Valley Central Railway” livery (which looks a lot like the Ventura County Railway livery) as seen in Back to the Future Part III!
The lead engine is #9 (built as Southern Pacific #1059). No number visible on the second engine.
