With the penguin story, I aimed to style the narration like a 1800s Romantic style. I love the juxtaposition of that and the boss's modern corporate speak.

Tldr I need to stop worrying about the 'right' way to do things and just do what I want.

I try to keep a subdued narration to let the characters action and dialogue tell the story. But I think I'm overdoing it, worrying too much about showing instead of telling and what makes 'good' narration.
