But the worst meltdown was really the dot-com bust. The Nasdaq was down over 80% by the end. That never happened to the S&P 500 or Nasdaq in 2008.

It will slow further? We all know it's not growing at 5%. Let's say it's really 3%. What does 2026 hold? Recession? Or 1%. Shocking given that just a decade ago 10% was the norm. Nothing lasts forever.
Will retail sales in China suffer from a period of “payback”? Will the trade war with America throw the economy off course? And will the property market recover?

These are the three big questions China will face in 2026
The Chinese economy will slow in the year ahead
It looks like the trade war will rumble on. How will China’s economy fare? Three questions loom in 2026

I don't understand this stupid "cash to the people" nonsense. The "people" are already going on the ACA marketplace and shopping for insurance. That's the point. Giving them cash to go shop for it will lead to waste, fraud and abuse. And it doesn't do anything to deal with the rising premiums.
NEW: Donald Trump says he wants ACA funds to end after 2025

“I’d rather not" extend them, he tells reporters on AF1. "I don’t want to extend them for two years. I’d rather not extend them at all."

He wants cash to go "directly" to people. Unclear how that'd work.

Trump says he would 'rather not' extend Obamacare tax credits 'at all'
The president said he prefers to let the Affordable Care Act subsidies expire on schedule at the end of December, saying if anything he wants the money to go to "the people directly."
