Gadget won’t do any of her outdoors business when it’s raining, unless she wears her boots. If she has her boots, she will splash in puddles and walk on wet grass. Without? No way.

I think a lot about this passage from Fruits Basket too, when I’m overwhelmed. Maybe this thread can help someone else feel a little better too.
For example let's say, Tohru-kun, that you are surrounded with a mountain of laundry piled so high around your feet that you can't move. Are you with me? I installed an all metal hotend on my 3D printer today, and tested it out by making a QR code tag for @fennecuskitsune.bsky.social to take to #AFC. Not perfect, but I know what settings I need to adjust. A good first try!

I keep getting an ad for Google AI that I am fairly sure is incorrect. I took a couple screenshots. The ad claims that the AI can help you study for an anatomy exam, then misidentifies something as the left ventricle of the heart.

Am I wrong? Can someone who knows hearts better check me on it?

Everyone really did great work. I think the best part was honestly hanging out backstage with everyone and chatting about how we made our costumes. I learned a lot just by chatting with folks, and I’m happy that any of us got to win.

I built the Ferengi prosthetics on a monster maker head, and it fits me okay, but I would like my personal prosthetics to fit better. So I had @fennecuskitsune.bsky.social help me take a 3D scan of my head, cleaned it up, and am going to 3D print it. Here I am using AR to check the size of it.

The text of an email. It reads: I am a San Francisco Bay Area resident, and I am deeply concerned by the statement put out by Denis Mulligan about DEl on Friday. The first lesson in fighting tyranny is not to comply in advance. Dr. Timothy Snyder, a decorated scholar of history and fascism from Yale, has written extensively on the subject. I would encourage everyone in leadership on the Golden Gate Bridge to familiarize themselves with that work. Denis Mulligan, your CEO, is proposing the rollback of DEl policies in order to comply in advance with the unconstitutional demands of the Trump administration. This is counter to the will of the people of the Bay Area. It is immoral, cowardly, and an offense to the diverse population who call the San Francisco area home. As a symbol of our state, we expect the Golden Gate Bridge to stand for our beliefs, not bow down to bullies. As a symbol of our city, we expect you to align with the moral and ethical standards of our city. This is a demand to do better.
