It covers Fargate from the ground up: no server management, just containers running on demand.

What stands out is the section on observability. You’ll actually set up OpenTelemetry, collect traces, and see how to get real state-of-the-art visibility! 💪

You should have clear, enforced policies and delegated administration from day one. SCPs and tag policies aren’t nice to have!

What you can learn in the advanced Skill Builder courses:

Even if you currently manage just two accounts, you'll get management and security headaches that only get worse as you grow!

There’s no shortcut here - multi-account management is a foundational problem, not a feature you hack together later.

Bonus: reconfiguration doesn't involve downtime.
This means you can start with a low-cost setup and scale up & down whenever there's the need.

AWS File Storage from Qumulo - Cloud Native File Storage
Support any file or object-based workflow on AWS at exabyte-scale with Qumulo's enterprise-class unstructured data storage services.

📦 No capacity planning
Just add data. Even if you need exabytes.

🔧 Deploys in minutes & you can use TF or CF
Just need to pick your instance types based on your workload.

💰 Storage cost = S3 cost
Uses S3 Intelligent Tiering automatically. Meaning our data costs S3 prices, not EFS prices.

⚡ Performance scales independently
Need more throughput? Add instances. Need less? Remove them.
November 24, 2025 at 9:57 AM
With CNQ your files actually live in S3, but you access them through NFS, SMB, or S3 API.

This is possible through CNQ' compute layer with runs on EC2.
(Don't worry, it's still pay-per-use pricing!)

What this means in practice:
November 24, 2025 at 9:57 AM
So if you look at 50TB, it's $1,000 vs. $15,000 per month

Seems like you're forced to choose: cheap or file-system compatible?

I was recently introduced to Qumulo and got to explore their CNQ platform (thanks for the collaboration on this post!)
November 24, 2025 at 9:57 AM
S3:
🟢 Cheap and unlimited scale
❌ Object storage API only

EFS:
🟢 Works with whatever needs a file system
❌ Expensive as hell

Not to forget: EFS' throughput scales based on its size ⚡️
