i read over 20 chapters of straight agony for a cliff hanger, thought maybe the sequel would bring some closure to everything it didn't address in the first one but no. 20 MORE chapters of additional suffering for a bitter ( untagged ) end. i've read two more unrelated sad end fics. i'm crashing out

i think he'd have his plans on his mind too much to really let back. look at him he's still in his fucking clothes. but he can very quietly almost admire it. doesn't think it's a waste of time. like begrudgingly agreeing to something because you know it'll be good for them. that's dabi on the beach

he won't admit it. doesn't really get it honestly, but they're really trying to make a real sand castle. damn. alright. everyone moves a little lighter. they don't get to relax like this. it's a snippet of the life they want to live. which is also why dabi can't bring himself to fully throw into it
