My parent's outdoor cat Penny passed away a few weeks ago and she was just a couple of weeks shy of her 20th birthday. Absolutely legend, but yes she was OLD. I love and miss her.

Right?! I have a great support system and was able to save up sick leave to actually get "paid" time off and I know I'm LUCKY. Having a baby is mentally exhausting, physically demanding and expensive. I'm happy to go through it all, but I think we can/should do better as a society.
