Saw the amazing Mermaid Chunky & their (only description I can come up with) beats-driven pastoral witchy Welsh folk last night. Not a great pic but I was reluctant to get too close as they were causing outbreaks of horny barn-dancing among the crowd and I was scared I'd get caught up in the frenzy.

Random thing I only found out today: There was an episode of Little House On The Prairie that was pretty much a remake of The Wages Of Fear. It aired about a month after Friedkin's version opened so they were probably hoping to cash in on what they thought would be that summer's "Sorcerer Fever"...

Scattered with fragmentation and disturbing ambiguity but ultimately a humane portrait of schizophrenia (which also contains one of the most near-unwatchable scenes in film history). Peter Greene - normally cast as scary weirdos - is heartbreaking.
