A dirt road takes up the entire bottom screen before shrinking rapidly into the distance. It is lined by small hills covered in green shrubbery. Each side of the road further down features fields of wheat and grass. Some trees are present in the distance. A large, dark downpour covers the horizon, appearing to blow out ragged clouds and concealing itself on the right. Above these low level clouds sit two layers of thick, stormy striations bubbling into the sky at the top.

Sorry, I've been busy! Here's a picture from the first tornado on 5/23/24 by Merino, Colorado! Shot through a car window, of course. (It's all I've worked on so far lol)

To the right, storm clouds become more ragged and torn as the frame grows bluer and darker. Faint rain lines the horizon of the storm.

Haven't posted in a while so uhhhh goofy storm photo?

Soft green grass covers the bottom fifth of the image with a pale dirt road cutting through the far right. Sitting on that road is a black truck, only partially visible. large storm takes up the majority of the frame with a body that looks like sculpted pottery (smooth, wavy lines). It's ornamented with a raggedy, short horseshoe shaped shelf cloud. This photo was taken on June 29th, 2023 and photographs a supercell west of Last Chance, Colroado.

A large, curving dirt road comes from the bottom right half of thei mage and quickly disappears behind the grass on the right side. The landscape is filled with dark green grass and sparse trees, with lighter, taller grass present on the left side. A utility pole is present in the far right. For the upper two thirds of the photo, a large storm with ocean waves worn as a hat is present. A large, inclined, turbulent cloud base sits below this hat, with glowing blue cracks just above the middle of the image as the clouds get progressively darker traveling from top left to bottom right of the base. A scuddy, tattered wall cloud lines the bottom of this base before receding under it in a tail shape on the right side. This walll cloud appears to almost touch the ground. Where the wall cloud parts, a faint mix of orange, grey, and blue mix into an eerie brown color backing the main rainfall of the storm. Behind it all, a vivid orange sky is present on the far left.

Same day as I saw my first tornado :)
Brown houses sit on the left of the landscape with a backdrop of dense trees. The close foreground depicts green grass, an asphalt driveway, and a dirt main road. Other houses are present on the right side, obscured by a mailbox. Above the landscape in the upper half of the photo, grungy, softly textured clouds form a storm base into the distance. A storm cloud in the distance is supporting a funnel ground at it center (roughly 2/3rds on the right). The funnel cloud is windy and small, with clear air between it and the distant ground.

Dark brown ground lines the bottom of the image, providing context for the size of the supercell above. At center stage sits a massive storm cloud with three distinct plate-like layers. The first is close to the bottom of the image and is very dark with some scud cloud (ragged cumulus) as a +1 below the plate and distinct storm base turbulence. This plate also has some stratification on the left side- layers of flat cloud extending leftwards, and has a second plate-like ridge on the right side. Rain sits next to this plate's right side and behind it, with a faint tail cloud pointing into and hiding in the rain. The second and third plates sit above the first with great distance in between, looking generally flat and gray. The third plate has a distinct swirl shape situated at the top middle of the image, resembling a crescent moon. The anvil of the storm is visible above the plates as cirroform cloud, with sunlight piercing through the top left of the image. In the background in the bottom left, a faint yellow glow of distinct sky is present.

A large storm cloud with two distinct "shelves" akin in its aesthetic to a twisted sculpted pot dominates the sky in the top half of the image. Rain is seen falling - though evaporating before the ground - in the top right of the image, and behind the storm cloud a gradient of rain downpour is visible. When it comes to the big aurora storms this year, which one was personally the best for you?

For me, the May 10th storm was the best- but October 10th is not far behind! I got to actually see ribbons of aurora on may 10th but October 10th was so much more vivid!
May 10th Deciduous trees line the bottom of the image interrupted by house lights. A large dead tree takes up the bottom right side of the image, obscuring a diffuse green haze. The sky is broadly purplish in color, and in a clearing left of the middle of the image a large, pink pillar of aurora accompanied by a white side on the left of it stands tall. Faint pillars stretch diagonally throughout the rest of the image. October 10th Deciduous trees line the bottom of the scene with a dead tree sprawling its branches out on the bottom right corner. Diffuse, cotton-like clouds sprawl across the sky with a sharp, large, red pillar of aurora piercing through the image - slightly left of the middle of the image. A pink glow appears in the sky on the right side of the image, partially obscured by a cloud and the dead tree. May 10th Trees line the bottom of the image with sparingly placed street lights, with the trees extending upwards to frame the edges of the image. A small pond can be seen in the bottom right of the image. The sky is decorated with point-like stras as a large, green, UFO-like cloud takes center stage. This cloud is the main aurora ribbon, most vibrant in the middle but extending towards the left side of the image as well. Faint white or red pillars extend far upwards from any ribbon segment. Numerous colors can be seen from the green of the auroral ribbon to a faint, deep red above the ribbon and a pinkish red haze on the right side of the image..

Deciduous trees line the bottom of the scene with a dead tree sprawling its branches out on the bottom right corner. Diffuse, cotton-like clouds sprawl across the sky with a sharp, large, red pillar of aurora piercing through the image - slightly left of the middle of the image. A pink glow appears in the sky on the right side of the image, partially obscured by a cloud and the dead tree. A road passes through the bottom of the image with dead grass visibly above and below it. Small structures are seen in the distance, with a large radio tower with several ground-attached wires strung throughout the entire pole. A massive storm appears in the back with distinct shapes - a ragged tail cloud fills into the storm on the bottom third of the image, with the main storm base above it and to the left. Small, ragged clouds decorate the rest of the underside of the base. Above the base extends a greater storm plateau- with an aesthetic akin to ocean waves as the plate of clouds extends and lightens upwards. This plate takes up the upper half of the image, with darker portions visibly more turbulent. Trees decorate the landscape at the bottom, with the main tree being a willow in the bottom right quarter of the image. Faint mountains line the horizon in the back, partially obscured by street lights and houses and wearing soft blankets of clouds above them. Several stars dot the sky with the main focus at the center of the image - a large comet with a prominent tail. This comet appears to be headed towards the willow tree. A large, cylindrical storm cloud appears in the top half of the image, with a distinct ragged and turbulent layer at its base. Hail falling from the storm cloud appears like a UFO beam - a large beam connecting with the ground. On the ground, which is dark and grassy, a dead tree and windmill stand in the middle, right in the path of this beam.
