Our Watershed Pollution Map filtered to show nitrogen oxide pollution - lighter colour = higher levels. You can pick out the road network in nitrogen oxide emissions. Diesel engines produce particularly high levels of this gas, linked to heart + breathing conditions.

In England + Wales, antibiotics are used less on farms than in the US, nevertheless, when @alistairboxall.bsky.social tested water from the River Wye, he found antibiotic resistance genes that could be traced back to veterinary meds for pigs.
