I think Valentine’s chocolates and cream eggs have jumped more than 5% from last year in Ireland. I just saw a bag of Mini Eggs for €10.

I'm thinking about another Venice Biennale where I saw this chandelier made from tampons by the Guerilla Girls.

Another example of a Kavanagh Stop. #defundDHS
Nasra Ahmed, a 23-year-old US citizen, was arrested and detained by ICE. She was held for TWO DAYS.

ICE agents handcuffed her, called her a racial slur, and she was knocked to the ground so hard she got a concussion.

This cannot continue happening. ICE needs to leave.

You have to read the comments. I grew up in a home where encyclopedias were our lazy web.
When a container of mixed nuts is shaken, the largest nuts rise to the top.

This phenomenon is known as the ‘Brazil nut effect,’ and there are a couple of mechanisms at play.

Or: “Making physics fun with snacks.” 🧵⬇️

I teach “AI for Personal Productivity” with the Irish Innovation Skillnet where we have hands-on exercises using Google Workspace. Cue discussions about privacy, security, and frameworks.

I made a quick audio blog about how I got started.

While prepping for another cohort of trainees with @irdghq.bsky.social my working notes surfaced a lovely story about stochastic parrots, the perfect metaphor for AI.

My voice has been part of edtech discussions in Ireland for all of this century. In 2025, I first encountered colleagues who downgraded respect for my work because they knew of my AI skills. It's like getting a yellow card for AI Competence. For some, my processes brush against a third rail.
