I drove to PDX and back monday, by the time I was heading home things were kind of apocalyptic, and the only road up from the ferry terminal was blocked by a fallen tree that someone had drove around and front ended into a van coming the other way so we lined up in the dark rain til that was cleared

I didn't have to beat GTA V, I asked my 4 year old to do it

Kind of neat how everything is worse all the time now

The air soft gun I got to train the wildlife around here is effective, doesn’t hurt them, and fires biodegradable pellets. You hear that deer? Stay out of the fruit trees.

As a rational person, I have as much chance of understanding these phenomena as a calculator has of understanding math. Just not going to work.

Makes me happy to know I know very little.

When I slept in an adjoining room, a houseguest came in and woke me to helpfully tell me they'd just see the legs crossing to my room. I went back to sleep, since the legs seemed to be doing their own thing. Once I saw someone come through the front door in red flannel, and vanish in broad daylight.
