Is the BBC going to talk about the LD vote on rejoining the EU? #bbcpm

The Australian law won't be perfect, but it's a start. The SM companies must be forced to change. These organisations feed on conflict, all to generate income. "Being touted" and "banning" teenagers from liking photos is appalling language from BBC news. #r4today

Thank goodness we're finally able to talk about rejoing the EU (at some level). Trumpy Webb doesn't like it. 😂

The language in the script for the 7am news seemed to favour the SM companies. Phrasing the restrictions as bad thing.

It's horrific that Webb is opening supporting American fascism. It may be masquerade as Christian fundamentalism, but it's still fascism.
I never imagined that Trump wanted to destroy the EU just for a financial deal. #r4today

Furlough was an essential response to Covid, but no politicians have been able to say that we need to raise tax to pay-off this national debt.

Good grief. Webbs "context" very misleading. Showing his CC scepticism and RW bias.
We need de link electricity prices from gas.
Prof Helm is doing very heavy lifting here.

The most significant problem we have in the UK is the cost of housing. If you're not spending the majority of your incoming on rent or a mortgage, then the higher disposable income makes life better.

Paul Johnson is very good. He actually knows what he's talking about.
It's very worrying that he can not discern any strategy in Reeves' approach to taxation.

Why do we need to reduce taxation? Can't we just have a Norwegian style government? #r4today

Rajan just ignoring that his base date was before austerity, before Brexit and before Covid. Seems to confirm the damage done by Caneron, Johnson, and Sunak.

Putin is very happy for Russians to die. We are already at war and he doesn't want peace.
He has to feel political and financial pain.
Ms Kallas is correct.

Meta is a very toxic place.
Meta halted internal research that purportedly showed (young) people who stopped using Facebook became less depressed and anxious, according to an unredacted legal filing released on Friday. www.cnbc.com/2025/11/23/m...

Very well put.
This is not a peace plan. It is a proposal that weakens Ukraine and divides America from Europe, preparing the way for a larger war in the future. In the meantime, it benefits unnamed Russian and American investors, at the expense of everyone else.

The resignations illustrate that conservative appointees want to make the BBC more right wing.
Systemic bias in BBC news and current affairs is clearly to the right. Farage has dominated for the last 5 years.

It continues to be up to people to stop using oil.

All those journalists - led by Kuenssberg and Peston - who cheer-led Boris Johnson into Number 10 should be hanging their heads in shame today, and retiring tomorrow.
November 21, 2025 at 12:45 PM
Why on earth is Webb asking if the Covid report is the end of Johnson's political career? He's been dead in the water since he was kicked out. His Brexit has been disastrous, and the toxic behaviours were beyond acceptable. Can we add his involvement with the Russian state to the mix?
