If Stretch wasn’t talking/listening to music nothing much mattered. Occasionally we’d discuss politics (Nixon) or films (Fellini). But mostly confined to tunes & tokes. My tastes were slightly more diverse, ie sex, fashion, travel, food. Did I mention sex? He took public transportation everywhere

Stretch failed to inform me for several years that he was only 2 months older than me. I thought he must’ve been much older. He took me to bars where they wouldn’t check ids. He was never interested in women, just music, joints & booze. He knew all the local musicians that mattered. #kcmo 1971

I FaceTimed a friend earlier & I believe she’s an adrenaline junkie. She was going ice-wall-climbing. Not sure if that’s what it’s called. Next week she’s going skiing in Switzerland. Then off to Cortina for more skiing. In the summer, she mountain bikes in Colorado. She danced for 4 hrs yesterday

I live in a nice suburb in the Kansas City area. Going to the grocery store leaves me in a funk. When did it become acceptable to wear pajamas in public? Why is every other customer sporting a team jersey? Baggy sweatpants are not becoming on anyone.
