I think we can all agree that transparency is a good thing. I don’t know how anybody could be against that.

Like so many Long Islanders, I grew up with the music of the Piano Man. I was fortunate to get to know Billy Joel over 30 years ago, when I was mayor of Glen Cove. His songs remind us why we’re proud to be in a “New York state of mind.” Wishing Billy a swift and full recovery.

Thousands of people showed up today to protest cuts to Social Security, Medicaid, and so much more! Now, with these tariffs raising prices and destroying savings, people are speaking up. The efforts of the GOP to ram things through without working together with Democrats are backfiring.
