Portugal are a worse team with him. They’ll fall at the group stages or go out in the next round. He’ll be incredibly petulant. Like many who reach the peak, he is struggling to accept he is on the way down.

As I said, only got to him in the 2000s but he seemed a bit pompous, I really don’t get the mystique others seem to grant him.

Side note. A music video on Bluesky is the longest piece of film I have watched in days as you can’t scroll past or the sound stops. You are forced to just stick there watch and listen.

I never got Christopher Hitchens. Is it an age thing? Some commentators, mainly in the US - the type who refer to him as ‘Hitch’ - think he’s the greatest mind since Cicero.
