I watched EYES WIDE SHUT (1999). I actually knew nothing about this going in so I certainly wasn't expecting the weird ass trip this ended up being. And I certainly didn't know this was kind of a secret Christmas movie. Lots to unravel and think about for sure. Wild time.

I watched ADULT SWIM YULE LOG (2022). What starts as a seemingly normal holiday yule log branches out (get it?) into places I was never expecting by become a surreal horror. Probably should be a surprise since it's from the director of TOO MANY COOKS. Anyway yeah this was a trip.

I really wanted the Robbie/bunny ears outfit in Silent Hill f but I'm not spending $15 to get it. I know you get a digital art book and soundtrack or whatever too but seeing how those would be stuck on my PS5 that doesn't make it worth it to me.

I watched HOBGOBLINS (1988) in the background, the MST3K version. I don't think I had seen it before. This movie was just so fuckin weird. It's a Gremlins rip-off, sure, but the rules of the Hobgoblins are bizarre and there are so many scenes that just go nowhere.

I watched THE 12 SLAYS OF CHRISTMAS (2022). This is literally just a 40 minute ad for blind box toys of Full Moon characters from things like Puppet Master, Demonic Toys, and Evil Bong with a Christmas wraparound of an old man telling stories to some young women with movie clips. No really.

I watched CARNIVAL MAGIC (1983) when I had the MST3K Turkey Day marathon on in the background. A very bizarre film about a circus performer who can talk to animals and also had a talking chimp named Alex. At the end it promises to return with sequel next year but it never did.

I watched CHRISTMAS BLOODY CHRISTMAS (2022). A robot Santa goes haywire and starts deeming everyone naughty and killing them. I wish I had more fun with this but I wasn't really feeling it. And that last act draaaags. I liked how it was shot with the Christmas lighting, though.

I watched STARCRASH (1978), specifically the MST3K version on the Turkey Day marathon. This movie was fucking nuts. A Star Wars knockoff with David Hasselhoff, random cavemen, and an annoying, wisecracking robot with a Southern accent. And so so so many shots of flying ships.
