He also teaches at my alma mater, so I hate that he's associated with Bard. Not sure he's still there but he was there when everything came out.

I read the first book a LONG time ago. Never saw any of the movies.

I always thought I'd read them and watch the movies with my son. He's old enough now but that won't be happening.

I've heard they are hiring a lot of "bad apple" police officers whose records of abuse are keeping them from finding municipal, county, or state police jobs.

Isn't Washington Post supposed to write editorials about business and free markets? Wouldn't tariffs be a threat to business and their owner's wallet? Shouldn't they cover that?

I did AmeriCorps in 2000 and 2001. I was paid $100 a week and lived in federal housing that was owned and paid off. We cost the government $5200 a year, paid some of that back in taxes, and made an outsized difference in disadvantaged schools, YMCA camps, disaster zones etc.
