One of my holiday traditions is to rewatch the Lord of the Rings trilogy. It not only reminds me that I should really read the novels, but also what it says about the wonderful value of friendship.

Call me crazy, but on my umpteenth viewing of The Fellowship of the Ring, the dark speech of Mordor coming from the ring sounds like “Dodge dodge m’gosh, hodge dodge Deepak.” Possibly I’m just punchy.
