I just finished re-reading 1984 too! I was struck not only by obvious parallels with Stalin's USSR, but also China's Cultural Revolution, which Orwell never saw. I too wish people would seek out the facts rather than be swept along by ... whatever...

I did, absolutely. They were a few months apart so I could concentrate on that one, but also was doing final edits for the other at the same time! They both helped with publicity and marketing, while I joined socials, improved my website and did some interviews! An unusual year!

Two books were published in 2025 by two different independent publishers! Aerth came out in January, with @weatherglassbooks.bsky.social; The Wilder Path with @aurorametro.bsky.social in June. So very exciting. I've been writing for a long time and these are my first major publications.
