Capsey would have been 13 at the time of the 2017 final? I know you can advance through the pathway faster in the women's game but I don't think the kind of player who could genuinely be inspired by a World Cup final is playing tier 2 yet...

I lived in Stevenage for a year and worked there for four, and in that time my favourite gag was 'if you follow the signs that say "tourist attractions", it takes you from J8 of the A1M to J7' 😂

It's ultimately the weakness and cowardice in the face of a tough decision that disheartens me so.
Even worse is this could have been used as an excuse to overhaul and simplify tax more broadly, but clearly there is neither the ambition nor conviction in this government for anything radical

Meanwhile we'll continue to watch farcical efforts like West Indies in India and applaud them for not losing by an innings? I don't see the value in this.
You can easily design around the promotion/relegation issue by just playing the marquee series anyway. It's not like the Big Three will struggle

If there's no actual funding for Ireland/Zimbabwe/Afghanistan to play more tests, how are we to expect them to afford to participate? All looks like lip service to me
