@caseybriggs.com @benraue.com I’m building an app to help people find the right representative for local issues – goal is to make local government more accessible. Any idea's on an api i can give an address/coordinate and it will return the following 5 applicable data points:

Very interesting. So if I was able to make this work and keep up to date there could be paying customers? I've got a few techniques I have been playing around with that could work to collect the data even though they're layout and design differences. And need to work out triggers to re-scrape too

I see. Yeah not quick. I'll have a think about scraping mechanisms with the help of an LLM as keeping the data up to date will also be a challenge

Any tips on data sources for this data? Wikipedia, council websites, anywhere else? State and federal is easier, but will need that info also

Ah I see - I was just doing a backlink search and saw you had a few links to sites like [council].gov.au/your-councillors
