Robinson Crusoe on Mars is the first movie I went to see by myself, in 1964, when I was 13. (Solo trip on the bus to the theater in a strange part of town, not something that kids do any more!) I still think of it fondly.

And Julie London was married to Bobbie Troup, her Emergency! costar. He was also the composer of “Route 66”, a hit for (separately) Nat King Cole, Chuck Berry and The Rolling Stones. What a family!
