I'm not sure that you can truly have "freedom of independent thought" without being inside of a moral framework.

The real challenge is deciding on *which* moral framework.

Atheist? Natural Law?

Muslim? Freedom of Jihad?

Jewish/Christian? Ten Commandments?

Others?

Wasn't this started by Google when it came up with the SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) concept combining system admins, DBAs, and network engineers into a single position?

It's like a "full stack" developer. They extremely rare as are broad SREs.

I think we should have a globally televised cage match pitting the "AI bros" against the "Cybercurrency bros" since they both want the same compute infrastructure for different purposes.

In fact, why can't you earn cybercoins while doing GenAI queries?

Anyone who approaches GenAI only allowing either '100%' (everything) or '0%' (nothing) answer is responding emotionally, not rationally and IMHO is more likely to be a victim of A.I.

I don't understand the a-peel.

I disagree. It amplifies what I can do, then steps back. I use it purposefully.

I really like using Sudowrite (GenAI) to generate my first draft plot outline for my SciFi novel. It thought of several things I didn't. But I couldn't start writing using it without a lot of work to it.

I hope you don't mean 'The Rise and Fall of Sanctuary Moon'. That might be blasphemy.

What is the 'it' you're going to talk to. I hope it's not a urinal or something inanimate...
