It is a misunderstanding of who Metroid's audience is. Something like this clearly exists for the the 10-year-olds with Switch 2s that are going to be playing the game. But the hardcore audience that's going to make up the base of the audience are mostly 30 and 40-year-olds.

Yeah, Gaming Laptops are a thing for a reason. I think the Steam Deck and now the Steam Machine are really smart ways to tap into that market with tech that's more like game consoles like the Switch or Xbox.

When they showed Sonic Racing in the trailer, I thought it was Mario Kart for a second and got very confused
