The services of the two Bullocks are not easy to differentiate as both served in the Grenadiers Company 41st. M.G.S. Medal with clasp “Detroit”.

* Richard Bullock Junior succeeded Nathaniel Coffin as Adjutant General of the Upper Canada Militia.

Served throughout as Lieutenant & Captain 41st in Canada during the War of 1812 – 14, being present at Detroit, Queenstown, & the second action on the Miami. Was the only officer of 41st who escaped from disaster at Moravian Town.
