Inside, each wall is decorated. The nave in medieval wall paintings, the chancel in 12th century frescoes. It's not bad.
A 'wheel of life' painting in a wall of the nave. It depicts 10 circles on the ends of stalks in a circle. The detail within these circles is barely discernible. A hanging lamp illuminates the scene, by a tall window, hanging from a timber roof. The chancel, a small stone room with a window at the end above the altar. On the walls and ceilings are Romanesque frescoes, much faded but discernible. On the walls are the apostles looking down, and on the ceiling Jesus.

Today's church collecting took in St Mary's, Kempley - looking pretty in pink 💅🏼
St Mary's Church, Kempley. A squat Norman church with one side painted a baby pink colour. The rest is a dull grey, as is the sky, but the churchyard adds a splash of green. Walking along the path in a long dark coat is Thea.

Got my first rolls of film back.
Mostly shite, but can try and claim the poor aperture-based blurriness is a creative choice intended to create a dreamlike effect, or something.

When they restored Lord Sandys' Spout in Malvern, they incorporated old discovered bottles of Malvern water into the brickwork
A small structure made of white tiles and bricks, within which is set a small bronze lion's head: a spout that spurts natural spring water (though not to be drunk today without first boiling). The spring sits at the end of a little path at the end of an enclosed space, with trees threatening to overgrow it. Nothing like a creepy evening walk to lift the spirits
A path on the Malverns winding round a bank on one side and a sloping drop on the other. Trees line both sides of the path, which is covered in fallen leaves, looming up with spindle branches silhouetted against the darkening twilight sky. A faint mist clings to them. Idk Algernon Blackwood would have fucking loved it probably.
