He became a lycanthrope during the campaign I play him in as a result of a blood pact with a powerful lycan, & the DM had lists specific for every character; I rolled reindeer, but because Lynx turns into a moose so often, it just felt right to ask if he could be a weremoose instead. I am loving it.

Lynx is a sweet-pea that's growing quite the (over)protective streak after becoming a weremoose; nobody hurts his friends. He's currently secretly wrestling with the fact that he's not as sad as he feels he should be that the hag coven they're fighting had his father killed
