Also my issue with how heavily we've leaned into the sci-fi stuff as a whole is that its hard to justify walking around in chain mail and carrying a sword when I have unfettered access to a laser cannon and the power armor from Halo.

The game kept trying to convince me that the stakes were really high and im just like man i went to the edge of the universe and built a coffee shop there, I'm not worried about a lizard cyborg and his robot girlfriend. Call me when it gets scary.

A big issue I had with Dawntrail was that after Endsinger, it really felt like there wasn't a significant threat that my character couldn't deal with. Like, I felt like a goku-esque character where its not even worth calling me in unless its a real world ender.
