A mailing box holds two larger bags, one full of wooden dice, the other full of ~25mm wooden hexagon pieces. There is also one smaller bag filled with a couple of each of those and a random assortment of other pieces (including what appears to be a duck wearing a bowler hat)

(also check out this cute little board/box I made 😁 It feels so much more satisfying to knock your opponent's bug out of the ring now)
Bug Brains full setup, each player has a mood card (dice inputs) and a bug card (movements). The board is now on top of the little box, so when you knock your opponent out of the ring, they fall off the edge. There are also two dice visible, with the third mostly hidden behind the box, and a few beetlebux off to the side.

You've all given me an absolute shit ton of awesome ideas to think about!!!
Like 50+ test cards for Bug Brains, most of which were drawn up by other people. Far too many cards to detail here, but they're split about 50/50 between bugs(yellow and pink) and moods(blue), and split like 50/40/10 between totally playable by the base rules, dubious but playable, and playable if you're willing to put up with a lot of bullshit.

Testing out a first playdough art pass for the Bug Brains logo, board, and card backs. Feeling pretty happy with it all, not really set on the colours yet tho
Two sets of three face down cards next to a 3 by 4 grid grid board, the cards say 'Bug Brains' on the backs. One set is orange and blue, the other is green and red. The tiles making up the grid on the board are a sandy brown. There are little decorative twigs and leaves and stuff around the borders of both the cards and the board. All the art was made with playdough.

I haven't even started recolouring yet, but I'm so so happy with how these little mock ups for Bug Brains' new playdough art style are turning out
A mock up card from Bug Brains, every element of the card design, aside from the text, has been made out of playdough. The card is named 'Feisty' and has a little orange and yellow symbol which looks like a flame or a meteorite. The card is split into three segments, each ending in an arrow pointing off the right-hand side of the card. Each segment contains some placeholder dice symbols, all showing a single pip for now.

A gorgeous greyhound anxiously looks straight ahead at the camera. She has black fur, greying around the mouth and eyes, with a little patch of white down the front of her neck. Her ears are tucked back making them almost completely hidden. She is sitting up on the couch, wrapped in a pink blanket. The same greyhound, so stressed she's now mid yawn. It almost looks like she's yelling at me for not giving her enough pats.

I did a little playtest of my first ever zine game and I'm incredibly pleased with how it felt to play :)))))
It's called 'Make It Snow (and by 'it' I mean this zine)'
It's a single-use, single-player game about memories of snow, where you tear up each page to make more snow as you progress.
Front cover and rules for Make It Snow (and by 'it' I mean this zine), surrounded by torn up pieces of a playtest version. Rules: "This zine is not opened like a book. From front to back, you will rip and tear the pages of this zine into little pieces of snow. Before ripping out each page, you must cover all visible 'RED sections'(this written in red text) by sprinkling your snow from ~10cm up." A smaller area at the bottom of the page, surrounded by dotted lines says: "Rip out this section and tear it into snow to hide that!"(An arrow pointing at the red text above it) Page 2 of 'Make It Snow(and by 'it' I mean this zine)' From top to bottom: "Snow on the roads, (in red) still coated in silt" A b&w image of a cul-de-sac with various sections coloured in red. A front loader pushes around piles of silt to be collected in multiple dump trucks. badly stored seed potato jump scare!!!
a plastic container with a paper bag and some potatoes in it, there are extremely long, dangling, purple potato roots overflowing from the container inside the paper bag, more potatoes and more long purple roots, but with lots of smaller white shoots coming out near the bottom
