Music, Everton, Test Match Cricket, other football, all the other cricket (apart from ‘The Hundred’), national hunt racing, in that order. Oh, and please hit me up with some good books, fiction obviously.
It’s such a bad take that I wonder if it’s a bot. The Russians, after all, are not pro-MAGA or pro-left, they are simply pro-division. They want us fighting between ourselves.

This is Macclesfield, a previously safe Tory seat and a town currently bedecked in flags as well. There is hope out there.

I would still worry for you as a Spurs fan that you’ll be able to spend what is required in the timeframe required to break into that upper echelon. Believe me, I wish I didn’t have to be so cynical!

Farage will never be able to wash away the stink of Putin.

Everton fan here. You’re speaking sense. However PSR rules as they are mean that the shop is closed, look at Newcastle and Villa, they’re not allowed to break into the cabal. Meanwhile Chelsea can sell a hotel to themselves and nobody bats a fuckin’ eyelid.

I know it won’t happen, but I’d love England to score a slow, old-school 2.5 per over 500 over 6 sessions.

I’ve won a pint!

Stokes is far from the best batsman in the team, nor technically the best bowler. It is his absolute desire to win and how he uses the ball and the bat to achieve it, seemingly at all costs. Love ‘im!

The way Ben Stokes wrenches games to victory by sheer force of will with both bat and ball makes him one of my all-time sporting heroes. Whether he is England’s greatest captain, however, is a completely different question. I would say not yet.

Jimmy lad, Where was I a ‘cunt’ about men’s mental health? I said I would like to think men’s international day would be used to improve mental health (as in I want to see men’s mental health provision improve!!) I just have never seen it actively BE helpful. (Maybe I have been living under a rock!)

Maybe you’re right. Maybe I am just angry at how it’s been hijacked by a certain type of man. But I never see any vital signposts or increase in information for men suffering in the media, and I’m not a hermit and the noise is therefore primarily negative.

I’d love to think international men’s day was organised to improve men’s mental health, and indeed men’s health overall, but we all know that’s not true.
