"Sparking fears of fee hikes"?
Govt funding cannot be used towards fees- only capital works. It's completely misleading to say that cuts to funding will increase fees. If the school chooses to hike them, that's on the school not the funding cuts. Plenty of rich schools increase fees regardless.
