I was disappointed that Stringer left Essendon, but if his form is anything to go by, it was the best outcome.
He's not as relied on like he was at Essendon, but in 2025, he's had his lowest disposal average, goals, assists & clearances since 2020, as well as the lowest tackle count since 2017

I've seen a few footy shows mentioning what to do with Dan McStay after his latest injury.
Looking at the numbers, he isn't adding a whole lot of anything. I understand at his best he's a very handy contributor, but I don't think McRae will lose too much sleep over filling his role on match day

One of my all-time great Anzac Day experiences is when Lovett won the medal, Hirdy starred, & Jason Laycock dominated.
I used to have a shaved head & wore the long sleeve jumper to games.
A kid on the train back to Chiltern genuinely thought I was Laycock. Asked for an autograph and all 😆

I'm not sure if the Bulldogs have made a call yet. The language used by the media doesn't say that anywhere in the headline

You've got to love these puff piece articles on draftees.
The sage advice of 'you were drafted for a reason' is apparently noteworthy, like every other player taken was done randomly and for no purpose

The safest bet of the weekend was the MCG security staff completely over-correcting following Thursday night's gun incident.
Right now footy fans are circled around the G concourse just to get inside the ground.
Do your job properly in the first place and something like this doesn't need to happen

I'm still thinking about this goal.
The gather and dish off from Kako is next level good. The way this kid plays belies his age and experience.
It'll be a tough task topping this for the team goal of the year

Is there any chance of an update from Mick Ablett on Essendon's 'blunder' trade?
Pick 9 and a future third, for 28, 40, 46, 54 and 65 in 2024 and (currently) pick 2 in the 2025 draft suddenly looking a lot less 'staggering', hey Mick?

Two absolute inexcusable errors from Prior.
First is a lack of physical nous to work DBJ under the ball and take an easy mark, second is just the wrong decision - plan and simple.
Both come about from a lack of confidence.

Legit question: why didn't he do this at Essendon?
Was it a personal choice not to follow directives, or did the club fail him in terms of giving him a strict standard to uphold?
It's really disappointing to see it took
him leaving Essendon for the penny to drop.
