Brioche shawl is growing again now that holiday knitting is concluded. Only 100ish rows to go before the border and I've finally maybe internalized the off-kilter rhythm of this pattern.
Shawl in progress spread on the couch in a curving triangle. It is two-tone blue with subtle contrast, making a perpendicular zigzag pattern of raised ridges.

Little bears in little sweaters, destined for little nephews
Two knit stuffed bears with upturned noses and cute little ears, both wearing knit sweaters. One bear is dark with a light muzzle, wearing a red and purple striped sweater. Little knit gift bear, in progress
A hand knit stuffed brown bear nearly complete. It has a wide belly and short legs, an upturned nose with no face embroidered yet, tiny ears, and one long arm still on the needles and unstuffed.

Today in mending, peephole patches for my lounge-around-the-house pants. The patches are jersey knit like the pants so they work very well. And are cute.
Grey knit lounge pants with two patches, a small pink heart and a white crescent moon. Each image is revealed through a round opening snipped where there was damage. The patches are secured with rings of purple stitches surrounding the opening.

When I was about ten years old I had a pair of dark purple corduroy overalls that I always wished I could have kept forever. Last winter I realized I could just make a new pair and now they're done!
Me in plum purple wide wale corduroy overalls that I made, and a hand knit bear sweater and a crochet scarf. I look very pleased with myself and they overalls are plush and well-fitted.

Quick lil garter stitch evening project for brain soothing 🩷💜💙
Holding up a wide shallow triangular knit shawl, with alternating white and solid color crosswise stripes. The stripes are thick and have a sharp angled bend in the center echoing the shape of the shawl. The color stripes progress from pink to magenta to purple to dark blue to light blue.

The Julia Child rose in my garden blooms well into frosts, every year, even with the drought we had this year. Still a few blooms opening now, somehow.
