Thanks! It such a powerful tool, and once you get used to it it’s pretty easy to work with!

I think you’re pretty much limited to the size of the viewport? 256x192 is pretty small for displaying hi res text. Playing in fullscreen just means scaling up 256x192 pixels to cover the screen right? You could try with a secondary viewport that has a higher resolution and display the text there?

You have a great game name, great art (both your public avatar and the images here and on steam) = which means I’m intrigued, but when I get to the Steam page there are no videos or gifs or anything of the actual game. And that’s where you lost me.

The physics are on the gamemaker side! I know that Spine has some kind of physics thing in the pipeline but I think its still in beta maybe?

Here’s how the Spine2D rig looks like. I control the aim target/crosshair IK bone inside Gamemaker 🎯

Thanks Loïc! Yeah a lot of stuff in the environment could react in a physical way when you shoot at it for example 😀

I usually end up in adobe illustrator, I love how simple it is to block out shapes with it 👌

I usually jot down a couple notes/tasks in a notebook on the bus home, then when I get home I know exactly what to focus on.
