This is why we have to ship in food. We can get 22lb bags for $17 and 28lb for $22.
24 cans of Friskies is $18. This is why so many animals on island are dumped.
We supply 100’s of pounds of cat food a month for colony feeders and the elderly, so they can keep their cats.

Empress was adopted, a couple of weeks ago, here on island. She was an instant fit with her new human but resident cat was put out. He screamed and hissed and bit his human… the kitten was in a closed room. Within a week he decided he might want to be friends. All is well now.

This little weasel moved his operation from Chicago to Charlotte because he was in trouble with a judge there. People need to document him if they see him. He has zero self control, and he is in charge.

I warned the new foster for Princess Leia that she can jump super high and far. Her zoomies take her up and over everything in her path. This is the picture I was sent last night.

Went trapping tonight. Tough crowd. I got 3 out of 5 at one property. Had to leave there by dark(owner has dementia and my skulking around with a flashlight would not be good), so tried for one around the block. She wasn’t interested. Went to town and didn’t find any victims.

They got cleaned up but still looking a bit rough. Thankfully, they are at the self grooming stage and groom each other. They will be mess again in a few hours though.

The inmates had a food fight this morning, pushing each others faces into the bowl trying to muscle each other out with their heads. Mind you their bowl is never empty! Just relined the cage and it was trashed in 5min.

Clavamox is a wonderful thing. You know it was the right choice when a few hours after the 3rd dose you are seeing results. Boy baby was eating from a syringe because he couldn’t smell the food. Tonight he ate from the bowl and filled his belly. They are getting lively now.
