I’ve just switched from Instapaper to Raindrop. It fits my needs better, especially the ability to view articles in WebView by default on iOS.

Does anyone know what this GitHub notification setting is supposed to do? It still sends email notifications for comments even when every checkbox is set to off. "Watching" and "Participating, @mentions and custom" are both set to "on GitHub, Email".

I didn't know the Preview app is coming to iOS 26 and iPadOS 26. I'm trying Zotero as a PDF viewer for both macOS and iOS/iPadOS, but it has too much functionality and the UI is somewhat off for me.

github.com/k1LoW/deck looks very promising, but is there any way to export Google Slides to HTML, so I can host the slides on my static web site?
GitHub - k1LoW/deck: deck is a tool for creating deck using Markdown and Google Slides.

I've been trying VS Code for a while, but after using JetBrains IDEs again after a long time, damn this is too good to leave. It's sad that I'm forgetting the shortcuts though 😂

I watched Shōgun season 1 and it was an excellent show. It brilliantly depicts the beauty of Japanese culture's positive aspects and how death was ever-present in that era. It also portrays the Samurai's brutal cruelty in ways that Japanese shows (particularly Taiga dramas) often cannot.

I successfully completed a flawless migration of all my personal Notion databases to Obsidian Bases thanks to the official importer and Claude Code.

I became an Obsidian Catalyst member to try out Bases - I couldn’t wait for the official release! Now I no longer need my personal Notion databases.

Tron 2.0 was such a good game. It’s so sad that I just found out Monolith Productions was shut down this year.

The Nine Inch Nails song is so good that it alone makes me want to watch Tron: Ares.

In this era of agentic coding, I keep thinking about what to learn and how to learn it. I think fundamental knowledge will become more valuable. Also, the learning phase and coding phase will probably become more separated, unlike before when they were closely connected.

I've just released my first ever #ruby gem with the help of Claude Code: github.com/tnagatomi/bu...
It's a Bundler plugin that lets you browse gems in your Gemfile. You can install it with `bundle plugin install bundler-browse`.
It's a tiny tool but I hope you'll give it a try and find it useful 🥳

Introducing Bases, a new core plugin that lets you turn any set of notes into a powerful database. With Bases you can organize everything from projects to travel plans, reading lists, and more.

Bases are now available in Obsidian 1.9.0 for early access users.

I've been trying Orion for a few days. It's still far from perfect, but I really like how it feels overall, so I've set it as my default browser on both my Mac and iPhone. Kagi has also been working well, so I subscribed to the Professional plan.

I might be turning into a fan of their products 🤓

Trying out the Orion Browser by Kagi and my first impression is really good! The tab groups feel a little weird, but I think I can get used to them. The intro video was also nice to watch ☺️

Switched back from Zellij to tmux. tmux feels more minimal, which fits me better. I also love being able to select windows with number keys, and how easy it is to copy text with the keyboard.
